When Mowgli the cat went missing from his owners' Calgary, Alberta, home five years ago, he was feared dead. The 7-year-old cat suffered from epileptic seizures and was without his medication.

"We said our goodbyes to him not knowing what really happened to him," Pat Rollock, his owner, told QMI Agency.

Last week, a vet called Pat and Derek Rollock with the shocking news that Mowgli had been found — and was living with another family a few kilometres away.
